The Coming of the Name
Ware's Beauty Supply is in honor of my mother, Marilyn Ware. I dedicate the store in remembrance of such a wonderfully made woman of grace, and power. Her heart overflowed with love for her family, friends, and her community. She was a pioneer that demanded respect as well as giving to others of all races and ethnicities. Her spiritual values and love for people and their differences helped to define her journey through the life that God gave her. My mother battle with breast cancer and this is what took her life. She fought for a good fight and took her last breath in March 2005. She never gave up and fought till the end. And for that, she will always be my hero.
To all who are fighting the great fight and to those who have lost someone, we pray God's grace and mercy be with you and your loved ones.
The Coming of the Logo
Teal was my Mother’s favorite color. The heart is the love that I still have for my mother. Even though she's no longer here on earth, I know she's watching over me and my family. The crown is for the queen that I remember that she was. My Mother and her mother (my grandmother) loved wearing their wigs. No better way to carry on the blessings of some beautiful Queens. I love you Mom!
